I'm a native english speaker that used to play on the mainland Chinese mabi. Seeing how there's actually an english community on the tw server, I recently decided to migrate. However, I find that I'm suddenly illiterate here. >.>

I'm mostly illiterate in simplified Chinese anyway; I'm only able to recognize and understand between 150-200 characters. For traditional Chinese, I can recognize and understand less than 25.

Hello everyone. I just recently downloaded the TW version of mabinogi and installed the patch. Just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you for all of your hardwork thusfar.

Channel- Well seeing as I just started playing I dont really hang out in 1 specific one. Everyone else here seems to say 10 so I'll go with that. ^^

Well again I wanted to thank everyone for the hard work on the game. I hope soon it will be out in full english. Right now I divide my time between this and Tales of Pirates. Well hopefully I will be spending a lot more time here in Mabinogi. Look forward to seeing you all in game =)

I'm new to the game. I was wondering if there were any specific class guides, so i can find out more about the game. To tell you guys the truth. I have no idea what this game is...its an MMO obviously. but what type? I've seen lots of cool screen shot of an armor clad character; Paladin I think it was.

Anyways I would also like to know what server all of you guys play on. The server with the most english speaking players.

Pretty much everyone here plays on the 貝婷 Server Bettine* (prounounced more like Bei Ting)

There aren't really such thing as classes and its like Ultima Online, where you can train any skill you pretty much want provided that you get enough AP points (points you add into skills kinda)

To get a more basic idea on what skills there are, just look at Serea's guide.

all chars normally start with all the skills available to learn, so you can't use them all right away. You're going to need to pick the skills that you think will define you as a class... so if you wanna be an archer you'd normally want to pick ranged combat skills but it's not like other mmos where you are restricted to dish all ur points in archery skills only. You pick whateva u want wheneva u want whereeva u want and call urself whateva u want. That's just the basic of course.
