Not sure if it's just me, or if it's a problem that hasn't been addressed yet but,
the opening/login screen is just blank white now after applying the patch (for me that is).

oh, thats why are you using the Patch + Mods i think
that one is made for ppl who want laggles stuff and reduce CPU RAM usage
go to your mabinogi folder [ C:\Program Files\Mabinogi ]
and look for the file Lbg_patch.ini
then edit this

and change the "1" into "0"

I've tried changing to 0 but still nothing. Did the mod remove the login screen itself or something? :S
